Discover fun activities and events happening in Volusia County this January

First up, the Red Hot Chili Steppers walking club meets every Thursday morning at Gemini Springs Park. It’s a great way to get fit and meet new friends, no matter your skill level.
On January 19, the Roots and Branches Genealogical Society will host a presentation on family history at the DeLand Regional Library. It’s free and a great chance to learn something new.
If you’re into music, don’t miss the ‘Pedals, Pipes and Pizza’ event on January 25 at Stetson University. Kids can learn about the pipe organ and even get to play it! Plus, there’s pizza afterward.
For nature lovers, there are volunteer opportunities with Green Volusia Volunteers. They have several outdoor programs planned, including a Plant Like a Floridian workshop on January 21 and a guided bike ride on January 23.
