Dallas Majewski, a pastor in Evansville, faces serious theft charges after his arrest on Monday
His attorney mentioned that they weren’t even given a heads-up about the charges before the arrest. Majewski was booked into the Vanderburgh County jail around 10:15 a.m.
According to court records, each theft charge is a Level 6 felony. The local news is trying to get more details on what led to these charges.
Majewski’s LinkedIn says he’s the pastor at The Gathering Church, right in downtown Evansville. You can find him preaching in various social media posts from the church.
As of now, church officials haven’t commented on his employment status. The church describes itself as a welcoming place for those in need, offering support like breakfasts for the unhoused and recovery groups.
Interestingly, a phone number for the church wasn’t working on Monday morning, and they haven’t responded to an email yet.
