Caprice Bistro, a beloved spot in Wilmington, has new owners who aim to continue its legacy while adding their own flair

After years of hard work, the couple is ready to enjoy some time with their grandkids and travel to France. Patricia mentioned they’re both 70 now and feel it’s time for a change. They wanted to ensure the restaurant was in good hands, and they found that with Dustin Cook and Edie Senter, who own other popular spots in town.
The Moitys have a rich history in the restaurant business, having worked in France and other cities before settling in Wilmington. They’ve built a reputation for dedication and care, with many locals knowing Thierry simply as “Chef.”
While they’re excited about the new chapter, they’re also confident that the new owners will keep the essence of Caprice Bistro alive. They plan to maintain the menu and keep most of the staff, ensuring a smooth transition for everyone involved.
The Moitys are looking forward to spending some time in the Triangle area before visiting family in France. It’s a bittersweet moment, but they’re ready for this new adventure.
