Erie County braces for a snowy week with temperatures dropping into the teens and wind chills near zero

Erie: Looks like we’re in for a chilly week ahead! The forecast says we could see up to a foot of snow, especially on Monday and Tuesday.
The National Weather Service is warning us about low temps in the teens and wind chills that could drop to around zero. Brr!
Chautauqua County might get hit even harder with lake-effect snow, so keep an eye out if you’re in that area. They’ve got a warning in place from Monday afternoon through Thursday morning.
For Erie, Sunday’s high is around 32, with a chance of light snow later in the day. Monday could bring 1 to 2 inches of snow, and it’ll get pretty cold at night.
Tuesday looks like the snowiest day, with 3 to 5 inches expected. The high will only be about 24, so bundle up!
Wednesday will still have some snow showers, mainly before 1 p.m., and temps will stay low. But Thursday should warm up a bit, with highs near 28.
In Crawford County, they’re also expecting some snow, but the real concern is the low temps. It could feel like minus 4 degrees at night!
Chautauqua County is bracing for heavy lake-effect snow, with totals possibly reaching 16 inches. Travel could be tricky, especially during rush hour.
