Viewers speculate Henry’s connection to a beloved character in Emmerdale
Leeds: Emmerdale fans are buzzing with theories about Henry, a hospital patient. They think he might be connected to a well-known character from the show. In the latest episode, Jacob Gallagher, played by Joe-Warren Plant, had his first day as a medical student in A&E.
The episode kicked off with a dramatic twist when a stabbing victim was brought in. Jacob thought it was the missing April Windsor and quickly called her dad, Marlon. Meanwhile, Cain and Moira were at the hospital for Moira’s follow-up after her brain surgery. Jacob’s girlfriend, Sarah, also ended up in the hospital due to alcohol poisoning but thankfully recovered.
Throughout the episode, we met Henry, who was waiting for his appointment. He struck up a friendship with Jacob, offering him some much-needed support. He even had a chat with Cain, reminding him of his late father, Zak Dingle. Sadly, Henry’s health took a turn, and he passed away, leaving Jacob heartbroken.
Fans are convinced Henry has a significant connection to the Dales. On social media, many believe he could be Zak Dingle’s brother. One fan even speculated that this might explain a recent scene where Cain was seen at a grave. Others chimed in, agreeing that Henry resembles Zak and could be part of the Dingle family.
Jacob’s actor shared his excitement about the episode, noting how hard Jacob has worked to get to this point in his medical career. After all those hours of studying, he was finally getting hands-on experience in A&E, and he was ready to make the most of it.
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm, so fans can keep tuning in for more twists and turns!
