Washington: So, guess what? Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg are all set to show up at Trump’s inauguration. It’s a big deal since they’ll be sitting together with other VIPs.

These tech moguls have been cozying up to Trump for a while now. Musk, for instance, has thrown a whopping $250 million into Trump’s campaign. He’s been right by Trump’s side since he endorsed him last July.

Then there’s Zuckerberg. He’s been shaking things up at Meta, changing his lobbying team and content rules to fit in with the new Republican vibe. Plus, Meta chipped in $1 million for the inauguration.

Bezos, the Amazon guy, also played it cool last fall by not letting The Washington Post endorse anyone in the presidential race. He overruled his team who wanted to back Kamala Harris. Oh, and Amazon also donated $1 million to Trump’s inaugural fund.

These three are among the richest folks on the planet, with a combined wealth of $885 billion. Musk is at the top, followed by Bezos and then Zuckerberg.

NBC News reached out to their teams for comments, but only Meta’s rep said no comment. The others didn’t get back right away.

Over the years, these guys have backed both Democrats and Republicans, so it’s not all one-sided. They’ve got a lot riding on Trump’s next term, especially with potential changes in taxes and trade that could affect their businesses.

Meta is facing a possible antitrust trial soon, while Amazon has had its share of conflicts with Trump. And let’s not forget SpaceX, which is also a big player in federal contracts.

These tech titans are always in competition, whether it’s in AI, space, or media. Bezos is trying to catch up with Musk in the space race, but Blue Origin just had to cancel its first launch attempt.

Meanwhile, Musk and Zuckerberg are rivals in AI, each investing billions into new models. Musk even jumped into the social media game by buying X, formerly known as Twitter.

And of course, Bezos and Zuckerberg are always going head-to-head with their advertising and shopping empires. It’s a wild world out there!
