New York: Elisabeth Hasselbeck is back in the spotlight, stirring things up on The View. She took to social media after Joy Behar questioned Carrie Underwood’s patriotism for performing at Trump’s inauguration.

Hasselbeck, who used to be on the show, didn’t hold back. She tweeted that Behar should “simmer down” and praised Underwood as an incredible woman. She even shared a photo on Instagram to back her friend up.

Later, on Hannity, Hasselbeck accused Behar of seeking attention and trying to stay relevant by criticizing Underwood. She felt Behar was just trying to ride on Underwood’s coattails.

Underwood is set to sing “America The Beautiful” at the inauguration, alongside the Armed Forces Chorus. She expressed her honor in a statement, emphasizing unity and love for the country.

Behar, however, wasn’t impressed. She argued that Underwood’s performance could normalize Trump, whom she views negatively. She questioned how someone could love their country while supporting someone she considers harmful.

Alyssa Farah Griffin, a Republican on the panel, chimed in, saying many people voted for Trump out of love for the country. Behar acknowledged free speech but reiterated her personal stance against performing at the inauguration.
