Fans of EastEnders believe they’ve identified Cindy Beale’s attacker following Elaine Peacock’s shocking discovery on January 7
Walford: So, EastEnders fans are buzzing because they think they’ve cracked the case of who attacked Cindy Beale. It all started when Elaine Peacock made a big discovery on January 7.
Cindy got hit on the head with a shovel right after her affair with Junior came to light. Now she’s in a coma, and everyone’s pointing fingers at each other, trying to figure out who did it.
George Knight has an alibi thanks to his brother Kojo, who was supposedly with him when the attack happened. But George’s visit to Cindy at the hospital raised some eyebrows, especially when he ran into Junior.
Things got even more intense when George found his blood-stained shirt but quickly hid it when Elaine showed up. He tried to play it cool, saying he was just worried about their marriage.
But Elaine wasn’t buying it. She was hurt that George called Cindy “his wife” during Christmas and felt he was hiding things from her.
Eventually, Elaine let George move back into The Vic, but he had to stay in Linda’s room while she’s in rehab. However, her happiness faded when she found the bloody shirt in a cupboard, and George’s daughters confirmed it was his.
Fans are convinced the shirt is a distraction and that George is really covering for Kojo, who has a grudge against Cindy after a fall related to her affair.
People on social media are buzzing about it, with fans saying things like, “George covering for Kojo” and “Kojo did it.” It’s wild how invested everyone is in this storyline!
Don’t forget, EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7:30 PM on BBC One and iPlayer, so there’s plenty more drama to come!
