Philadelphia: So, Ryan Caldwell, the Eagles fan who went viral for heckling a female Packers fan, finally spoke up. He got caught on video saying some pretty nasty stuff to Ally Keller during a game. It was bad enough that he lost his job and got banned from Lincoln Financial Field.
In his apology, Caldwell said the video doesn’t show the whole story. He claimed he was provoked and that things got out of hand during the wild-card game. He was just trying to support his Eagles, but it turned into a mess.
He wore his Eagles jacket while he was heckling, and it was all caught on camera by Keller’s fiancé, who was filming the whole thing. Caldwell admitted he used some harsh words and really regretted it. He apologized not just to Keller but also to his family, friends, and everyone who was offended.
He emphasized that this incident doesn’t reflect who he really is. Caldwell was fired from his job at a DEI-focused company after the video went viral, which shows how serious the backlash was.
