Duey Juice, a local rum cocktail brand, is set to expand into Wisconsin and Michigan with a new flavor launching soon

Chicago: A local cocktail brand called Duey Juice is gearing up for some exciting changes. It all started at a kickball tournament in Kenwood, where the owner, Nate Duhon, served his homemade rum cocktails to friends and family.
Now, Duey Juice is ready to launch a new flavor and expand into stores in Wisconsin and Michigan. They currently offer two flavors: a tropical blend of mango and citrus and a refreshing blueberry lemonade. Duhon mentioned that a third flavor, strawberry guava with a hint of lime, will be available in May.
Duey Juice has gained popularity in about 90 liquor stores around Chicago, including local favorites like Binny’s and Mariano’s. Duhon believes that if you can create demand in Chicago, it will follow you wherever you go.
Initially, Duhon made the cocktails in his kitchen, using ingredients from a local liquor store. As word spread among friends and family, he decided to test the waters and see if others would enjoy it too.
He spent years pitching his drinks to local shops, and by 2022, Duey Juice was ready for store shelves. Now, they partner with Two Eagles Distillery to produce their cocktails and work with a consultant to develop new flavors.
Local shop owners have been supportive, with one being the first to place an order. They appreciate that Duey Juice is a locally owned brand, which has helped boost sales. The community loves supporting local businesses, especially when they taste great.
As Duey Juice continues to grow, they’re also planning a return of the kickball tournament that started it all, happening this Memorial Day weekend. It’s a free event with food and live music, and Duhon is excited to see everyone come out.
If you’re interested in joining the tournament, you can reach out to Duhon through Instagram or the company’s website. It’s a great way to celebrate local talent and enjoy some delicious cocktails!
