Deion Sanders is reportedly a top candidate for the Cowboys coaching job after talks with Jerry Jones

Dallas: Coach Prime might be heading back to the Cowboys. Reports say Jerry Jones is interested in bringing Deion Sanders on board.
Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz broke the news first. Apparently, Jones has already chatted with Sanders about the coaching vacancy in Dallas.
Sanders, who’s currently the head coach at Colorado, is seen as a top candidate for the job. But it looks like the Cowboys will also consider other options.
Mike McCarthy won’t be returning next season after five years with the team, which included three playoff appearances. Jones mentioned they’d start searching for a new head coach right away.
In his second season at Colorado, Sanders led the Buffaloes to a solid 9-4 record. He’s also had the chance to coach his son, Shedeur, who’s a star quarterback there.
Sanders isn’t just linked to the Cowboys; he’s also been mentioned for the Raiders’ coaching position and has shown strong interest in that role.
Plus, the Raiders might be looking to draft Shedeur in the upcoming NFL draft. Remember, Sanders played for the Cowboys and was part of their Super Bowl XXX win in 1995.
Former Cowboys player Dez Bryant even voiced his support for Sanders on social media, saying he hopes Sanders gets the coaching job.
