Los Angeles: David Spade is on a mission to catch arsonists as wildfires wreak havoc in the area. He recently shared a video on Instagram, offering a $5,000 reward for anyone who can help nab these fire starters.

In the video, he mentioned hearing about people lighting fires and expressed his frustration. He said, “They just caught somebody we’re pretty sure was lighting fires walking along with the blowtorch. They let him go.”

Spade urged his followers to keep an eye out and report any suspicious activity. He emphasized that he wants real information, not staged incidents. “Don’t fake it though,” he warned.

The situation in LA is serious, with multiple wildfires causing destruction. Just recently, a homeless man was tackled by bystanders for allegedly trying to start fires with a blowtorch in Woodland Hills.

The suspect, identified as Juan Manuel Sierra-Leyva, is currently in custody. While he’s being held for a probation violation, the LAPD is still looking into whether he was involved in arson.

Fire officials confirmed that the Kenneth Fire has been contained after burning over 1,000 acres. However, the causes of the ongoing fires are still under investigation.

Some believe that arsonists are to blame for the devastation. Celebrities like Henry Winkler have voiced their concerns, suggesting that there’s an arsonist on the loose in LA.

As of now, the wildfires have claimed at least 24 lives, and nearly 180,000 residents have had to evacuate. The Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire are still burning, with containment efforts ongoing.
