David Schwimmer shared a funny story about serving Rod Stewart divorce papers during his college days, leaving everyone in stitches.
He was just a young guy, around 18, looking for work when his mom, a divorce lawyer, suggested he try being a process server. Schwimmer joked about being the guy who pops out of the bushes to deliver those papers.
He said he’s thankful he’s never run into Stewart since then, adding, “I don’t even know if he knows. I don’t think he knows.” Colbert couldn’t resist teasing him, saying, “He knows now!” and jokingly warned Schwimmer to change his locks.
The whole thing is just too funny! Schwimmer shared that he had a bunch of odd jobs before hitting it big on “Friends.” And while he didn’t mention which divorce it was, we know Stewart split from his first wife, Alana, in 1984.
