Los Angeles: Danielle Fishel has wrapped up her breast cancer treatment. The “Boy Meets World” star, now 43, shared that she’s officially done with her treatment but is feeling the tough side effects after 20 rounds of radiation.

She opened up about her journey on her “Pod Meets World” podcast, where she chats with her former co-stars Rider Strong and Will Friedle. Danielle mentioned that while she’s done with active treatment for ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), she’s still dealing with some painful aftereffects.

Fishel explained that she underwent 15 rounds of whole breast radiation followed by five rounds of targeted radiation. This approach aims to lower her chances of cancer returning, which is great news. However, she described her current state as feeling like she has a bad sunburn, along with an itchy rash on top of it.

“It hurts to wear a bra, and even to sleep,” she said, adding that it’s tough just to be awake sometimes. After sharing her struggles, she tried to stay positive, noting that she’s supposed to feel better each day. Her doctor told her recovery would take about two to three months.

Danielle also joked about her doctor’s advice to work out and stay hydrated, saying, “You want me to be tired and take care of myself?” But she’s taking it seriously and has started working out again, which she believes will help her body heal from the radiation.

Once she’s fully recovered, she plans to start hormone therapy with Tamoxifen. Danielle had previously shared her diagnosis in August, describing it as stage zero cancer. Her husband, Jensen Karp, has been incredibly supportive throughout this journey, calling her the strongest person he knows.

Recently, she made headlines for meeting 50 Cent at a Las Vegas event, where they posed for a photo together. The rapper shared a fun caption about her positive outlook, saying she’s going to be fine forever. Danielle and Jensen have two kids together, Adler and Keaton, and they married in 2018.
