Los Angeles: North Texas firefighters are on their way to California to help tackle those huge wildfires. It’s a tough situation out there, and they’re stepping up to lend a hand.

Dallas Fire-Rescue is sending six of their crew members this Saturday. They’ll be taking a Type 3 fire engine, which is pretty cool. Four firefighters will be on the engine, plus two more who’ll provide medical support.

They’re not going alone, either. They’ll join a strike team made up of firefighters from other cities like Greenville, Allen, Frisco, McKinney, and Parker County. It’s all hands on deck!

These wildfires have been causing a lot of chaos, especially in the Los Angeles area. The Pacific Palisades fire has forced over 150,000 people to evacuate their homes, with even more under evacuation orders.

Justin Ball, the Interim Fire Chief of Dallas Fire Rescue, expressed their support, saying they’re always ready to help out fellow firefighters in tough times. It’s all about protecting lives and property.
