Exciting new 3D hologram technology could soon transform retail experiences
Las Vegas: Holograms have been a dream in sci-fi for ages, right? Well, at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, a company called HYPERVSN is showing off some pretty cool stuff. They’ve got these human-sized, 3D digital avatars that can actually chat with you in real time.
It’s not just a flashy gimmick. These life-sized avatars could work in stores, helping customers by answering questions and suggesting products. Kiryl Chykeyuk, the CEO, mentioned that these avatars could really boost business, especially in retail.
He explained that they can engage customers, enhance brand recognition, and even draw more foot traffic. Sounds like a win-win, right? Plus, they could save businesses money on customer service while improving sales through engaging experiences.
While holographic displays have been around for a while, they’re finally making their way into real-world shops, thanks to innovators like Hypervsn. You might have seen similar tech in the UK, where stores let customers interact with avatars or use AI to chat.
So, how do these avatars work? Instead of being shown on a screen, they’re created by a spinning LED display. This means you can interact with them just like you would with a real person. Pretty neat!
These avatars can talk back in multiple languages, thanks to advanced language models. Plus, they can even show 3D visuals when you touch products in stores. Talk about a futuristic shopping experience!
Hypervsn has already set up installations for big names like Nike, showcasing their tech in stores and even at the Las Vegas Sphere. Last summer, they promoted a new sneaker launch with 3D animations around the Nike store in London.
Other companies are getting in on the action too, with different takes on holographic tech. The market for this kind of technology is expected to explode, reaching a whopping $206 billion by 2032. It looks like we’re just scratching the surface of what’s possible!
