London: The Traitors is in its third week, and it’s been a wild ride! Everyone’s buzzing about how they pick the traitors. Claudia Winkleman, the host, finally spilled the beans.

This season, contestants are trying to figure out who’s a “faithful” and who’s a “traitor.” The traitors are sneaky, trying to eliminate the faithfuls, while the faithfuls aim to banish the traitors. The prize pot is a whopping £120,000!

If a traitor makes it to the end without being caught, they walk away with all the cash. Last season, Harry pulled it off and left with £95,000 after fooling everyone, including his friend Mollie.

Claudia mentioned that in the finale, players will need to trust their instincts even more. They won’t reveal if they’re a traitor or a faithful, making it all about intuition.

It’s been an emotional season, too. Claudia got teary-eyed during one banishment because she hated seeing someone go. The last one out was faithful Dan, who was seen as “selfish” during a mission.

When asked how she’d do as a contestant, Claudia joked that she’d rather be a faithful but isn’t great at spotting lies. She shared a funny story about her daughter tricking her about homework!

As for how traitors are chosen, Claudia explained that it’s a team effort. Contestants chat with her about their preferences, and she takes notes. If someone doesn’t want to be a traitor, they won’t be picked.

There’s even a celebrity version coming soon, where famous faces will join the game of psychological warfare. Claudia said she hasn’t stopped any friends from joining, but it would be tough if a close friend participated.

Catch The Traitors every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 9 PM on BBC One, or stream it on BBC iPlayer!
