Columbus: St. Francis DeSales High School’s Chloe Ray just snagged the title of Student of the Week in the Dispatch poll. She got nearly 60% of the votes, beating out Nicholas Lusch from Canal Winchester High School.

Chloe’s been super active in school. She’s part of the Environmental Club, Run the Race Club, and the National Honor Society. Plus, she’s on the Swim and Dive team and has been the graphic designer for the school magazine, The Quill, all four years. This year, she’s the Senior Design Editor. On top of that, she loves singing in the Concert Choir and Horizons Choir.

Nicholas Lusch, the runner-up, is also impressive. He’s a National Merit Scholarship Program Commended Student with a GPA of 4.194, ranking 14th in his class. He’s involved in the Cisco Academy, showing his love for technology and learning. Both students were nominated by their school’s staff for their academic achievements and community service.

The next Student of the Week poll will kick off on Monday.
