A juvenile has tragically died days after being rescued from a house fire in Camden Wyoming, Delaware, according to officials.

The fire broke out on Tuesday, January 7, around 5:45 p.m. at a home on Wynsome Boulevard. When firefighters arrived, they saw heavy flames coming from the garage.
They quickly learned a child was trapped inside and jumped into action. Firefighters found the juvenile and rushed them to Bayhealth Kent Campus. From there, the child was airlifted to Nemours Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
Sadly, officials confirmed the child died on Saturday, January 11. Fortunately, two other kids got out safely, and an adult had minor injuries. One firefighter also received treatment for minor injuries at the scene.
