Prince George’s County: Chef Tobias Dorzon is back at it! Just 65 days after being shot during an attempted robbery, he announced his return on Instagram.

He shared a heartfelt message, saying, “Next time somebody tell you God ain’t real show them this.” It’s clear he’s feeling grateful and ready to get back to work at his restaurant, 1123 By Chef Tobias.

Dorzon was shot alongside his girlfriend while they were coming home from dinner in Hyattsville. Five suspects were involved in the attempted robbery, and sadly, no arrests have been made yet.

His friend, Councilmember Wanika Fisher, praised him for being a community pillar, especially for hiring local students and giving back.

Known for his vibrant personality and culinary skills, Dorzon has made a name for himself on the Food Network and other platforms. He’s been staying positive throughout his recovery, recently saying, “The comeback is going to be immaculate.”
