Charlie Brooks Clarifies EastEnders Return Rumors Amid Dancing on Ice

London: Charlie Brooks recently shared some thoughts about her time on EastEnders. She was on the Spooning with Mark Wogan podcast and talked about her character, Janine.

When asked if she might return, she gave a cryptic answer, saying it’s not completely off the table. She really enjoyed her time on the show and feels a connection to it.

Charlie mentioned how much she loves the people she worked with and the friendships she made. She feels like Janine is a character that can always come back in interesting ways.

This weekend, she’s also competing in Dancing on Ice, which adds to her busy schedule. Charlie has played Janine in EastEnders multiple times, with her last stint ending in 2022 when Janine was jailed.

She joked about wanting to borrow some of Janine’s personality traits, especially her humor and honesty. Charlie has a history in reality TV, having participated in I’m A Celebrity back in 2012.

She first appeared on EastEnders in 1999 and has been part of some major storylines. After taking breaks, she last returned in April 2021 but left again a year later.

Now, she’s gearing up to skate against other celebs like Anton Ferdinand and Ferne McCann on Dancing on Ice, which airs tonight on ITV.
