Montreal: Celine Dion is having a tough day but celebrating her family. On the ninth anniversary of her husband René Angélil’s passing, she shared a rare photo of their three sons.

In the picture, Celine is sitting on a couch outside with her boys—René-Charles, who’s 23, and the twins, Nelson and Eddy, who are 14. It’s a sweet moment that really shows their bond.

She wrote a touching tribute to René in her post, saying, “We can’t believe you’ve been gone nine years already. Not a day goes by that we don’t feel your presence.” It’s clear how much she misses him.

Celine continued, “You were my greatest champion, my partner, and the one who always saw the best in me. I honor you and you are forever missed mon amour.” Her words really hit home.

Fans flooded the comments with love and support. One person remarked on how grown the boys are, saying René would be proud. Another fan reflected on the legacy he left behind.

René Angélil passed away from throat cancer in January 2016 at the age of 73. He was not just Celine’s husband but also her manager, having met her when she was just 12.

They married in December 1994, and their family grew with the birth of their first son in 2001 and the twins in 2010. Just last month, Celine shared a black-and-white photo to celebrate what would have been their 30th wedding anniversary.

She expressed how much they miss him, saying, “You still fill our hearts, every day. You are everything for us.” It’s a beautiful reminder of their love.

Celine doesn’t often talk about her sons, but she opened up last year about how they motivate her to fight through her health struggles. She was diagnosed with Stiff-Person Syndrome in 2022 and wanted to reassure her kids that she’s not going anywhere.

At the premiere of her documentary, she thanked her boys for their support, saying, “I wouldn’t be here without the daily love and support from my wonderful children.” It’s heartwarming to see such a strong family connection.
