Capital One is dealing with a service disruption, impacting deposits and frustrating many customers across the U.S.

As of early Friday, there were nearly 3,400 outage reports, which is a big jump from about 2,100 the day before. Most of the issues seem to be hitting people in the eastern U.S., but there are also some complaints coming from places like Arizona and California.
The company mentioned that around 90% of the problems are related to deposits. A smaller portion of complaints involves account balances and online logins. They said the trouble started on Wednesday due to a technical issue with one of their service providers.
Capital One has apologized and is working hard to fix things. They promised that once everything is back to normal, they’ll process all the delayed deposits and transactions. But, understandably, many customers are still feeling the heat.
People are venting their frustrations on social media, asking for updates. One user even asked if there was an estimated time for when their direct deposit would come through. Another user warned the company to be honest with customers to avoid damaging their reputation. It’s a tough situation for everyone involved.
