Michael Thomas Lewis faces charges for stalking WNBA star Caitlin Clark, declaring himself guilty in court

Indianapolis: So, there’s this wild story about Caitlin Clark’s stalker. Michael Thomas Lewis, a 55-year-old guy, showed up in court and just blurted out that he was “guilty as charged.” Can you believe that?
He’s been accused of stalking Caitlin, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year. Apparently, he made some pretty scary comments on social media from December to January. It’s a real mess.
During his court appearance, he had a few outbursts, saying things like “Throw me the booky!” and “I’m free, I guess you got the wrong guy!” It’s like he didn’t even take it seriously.
The court documents say he repeatedly harassed Caitlin, making her feel threatened. The judge had to lay down some serious rules, telling him to stay away from her and her games.
He’s not allowed near Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where the Fever play, or Hinkle Fieldhouse, where Caitlin’s boyfriend works. If he breaks those rules, he could lose his bond.
After the judge entered a not guilty plea for him, they set his bond at $50,000. But Lewis said he doesn’t want to post bail. He’s like, “I’m here. I’m staying.”
Local police tracked him down using his IP address, which led them to a hotel and a library in downtown Indianapolis. It’s a crazy situation, and it’s just getting started.
