Bronx: A tragic scene unfolded when a musician named Peter Forrest, known as P. Fluid, was found dead in an ambulette. He was 64 years old and had a rich musical history, even opening for Jane’s Addiction.

Authorities discovered him lying face-down in a pool of blood inside the vehicle parked on Castle Hill Avenue. It was around 10:30 a.m. when they arrived, and they noted signs of trauma on his body.

Peter was part of the original lineup of the band 24-7 Spyz, which blended various music styles. His former girlfriend, Chiedza Makonnen, shared that he was her first love and a founding member of the Black Rock Coalition.

They met in Harlem, and their relationship blossomed, although it eventually ended due to his touring schedule. She described him as someone who lived for music and was happiest on the road.

After his time with 24-7 Spyz, he formed his own band, P.Fluid, and later BlkVampires. At the time of his death, he was working for a Long Island ambulette company and lived nearby in Allerton.

Friends called 911 when they found him, and now police are treating the case as a homicide. Makonnen expressed her shock, saying Peter had no enemies and was a genuinely good person who loved music.
