Brody Jenner shares that Caitlyn Jenner recently apologized for past feelings of abandonment
On a recent episode of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” Brody, 41, shared that this was the first time he ever got an apology from Caitlyn, who expressed regret for not being there for him.
He reflected on feeling “abandoned” during Caitlyn’s time on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” Brody said it was tough not having Caitlyn around, especially on special occasions like his birthday.
He recalled how he would wonder why Caitlyn didn’t call him on his birthday, which made him feel neglected. Brody described their relationship as feeling “invasive and not very genuine” at times.
Despite the past, Brody acknowledged Caitlyn’s struggles during her transition, which were shown on TV. He emphasized that he had a great mom, Linda Thompson, who was always there for him.
Now, as a new dad to daughter Honey, born in July 2023, Brody wants to parent differently than Caitlyn did. He even invited Caitlyn to Honey’s first birthday, showing he’s open to mending their relationship.
