Danny & Coop’s, featuring Bradley Cooper, is drawing long lines in NYC for its cheesesteaks

New York: The city is buzzing with excitement over cheesesteaks lately. While Philly has long been the cheesesteak capital, NYC is stepping up its game.
Enter Danny & Coop’s, which had folks waiting in line for up to 90 minutes just to get a taste. Last Saturday, the East Village was packed with eager customers.
Richie Sunden, a happy customer, said he waited an hour and a half and thought it was totally worth it. The buzz is real!
This spot is a collaboration between Danny DiGiampietro, known for Angelo’s in Philly, and none other than Bradley Cooper. They teased the idea back in 2023, and it’s finally happening.
Cooper has even been spotted making cheesesteaks himself, serving up those delicious sandwiches to hungry fans. The $17 cheesesteak features beef, Cooper Sharp cheddar, and onions on a homemade sesame roll.
People are raving about it! One fan said it’s the best cheesesteak they’ve had outside of Philly. Another declared it the most unbelievable sandwich ever.
While there’s no official opening date yet, the excitement is palpable. The new brick-and-mortar location is set to open soon at 151 Avenue A.
Philly transplants in NYC are loving it, and it seems like the cheesesteak craze is just getting started. Other spots like Wogie’s Bar & Grill and Fedoroff’s Roast Pork are also making waves.
With fresh bread and quality ingredients, the cheesesteak scene in NYC is definitely on the rise. It’s a fun time for food lovers!
