Ben Affleck Shares Heartfelt Hug with Daughter Violet Amid Palisades Fire Evacuation

Los Angeles: Ben Affleck had a touching moment with his daughter Violet after they had to leave their home because of the Palisades Fire.

They were spotted hugging outside his $20 million house on Saturday, while wildfires were still burning nearby. Affleck looked emotional as he held Violet close, closing his eyes during their embrace.

Violet, who is 19, wore an N-95 mask to shield herself from the smoke in the air. Ben, 52, dressed casually in a gray hoodie and sweatpants, seemed relieved to see his daughter.

The college freshman is likely getting ready to return to Yale for the spring semester. They evacuated to Jennifer Garner’s home in Brentwood on Tuesday.

At one point, Affleck smiled while spending time with Violet, who has two younger siblings, Seraphina and Samuel, though they weren’t seen in the photos.

Ben returned to his Pacific Palisades home on Wednesday and was thankful that it had survived the fires. A source mentioned that while his home is still under evacuation order, he feels grateful for its safety.

Affleck knows many people affected by the fires and is reaching out to help where he can. He’s been in touch with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Jennifer Lopez, who has been checking in on him during this tough time.

Lopez, who filed for divorce in August 2024, has offered her support for Ben and his kids as the fires continue to wreak havoc in the area.
