The Bears have interviewed Thomas Brown for their head-coaching role after a challenging season

Chicago: So, Thomas Brown had quite the rollercoaster season with the Bears. He held three different roles, which is pretty wild. After the Bears decided to go with Shane Waldron as offensive coordinator, they ended up firing him after just nine games. Then, they brought Brown in as the passing-game coordinator. When Waldron was let go, they made Brown the offensive coordinator, and after Matt Eberflus was also shown the door, Brown stepped in as the interim coach.
He didn’t have the best run, finishing with a 1-4 record. But at the end of the season, he reflected on things he would’ve done differently. He mentioned that his offense for quarterback Caleb Williams would’ve looked a lot different. He also noted he would’ve managed Tyrique Stevenson differently and aimed for more discipline, especially since veterans were vocal about the team’s issues in that area.
At just 38, Brown has been a hot name for head-coaching gigs in recent years. It seems like he’ll be in demand again, as he’s expected to chat with the Seahawks about their offensive coordinator position. It’ll be interesting to see where he lands next!
