Fans of The Traitors are questioning Linda’s strategy after her elimination
London: The latest episode of The Traitors has stirred up quite a buzz. Linda, one of the traitors, was eliminated, and fans saw it coming after her dramatic outburst. Many viewers started to doubt her innocence.
Claudia Winkleman, the host, shared that the prize pot is currently at £41,000, with a potential total of £120,000. So far, 10 faithfuls have been eliminated, and only Linda and Minah remain as traitors.
The episode kicked off with a mission to find three missing faithfuls, leading to a lot of finger-pointing. Linda, known for her over-the-top reactions, faced criticism for being overly defensive during the roundtable discussions.
Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their thoughts. One user joked that Linda was “throwing herself in front of the bus,” while another said she was “setting herself up.”
Linda, a 70-year-old retired opera singer, shared how she got into the show. She watched previous seasons and thought she could do it. After a spontaneous decision to apply, she found herself in the competition.
She mentioned enjoying the psychological aspect of the game and believes her age gives her an edge in convincing others. Unfortunately, she received the most votes and was sent home, leaving just one traitor in the game.
Linda revealed her traitor status, leading to cheers from the remaining contestants, especially Jake, who had suspected her all along. Interestingly, fellow traitor Minah also voted for Linda to leave, possibly seeing her as a liability.
