Aubrey Plaza has deactivated her Instagram account following the death of her husband, Jeff Baena, who passed away earlier this month

Jeff, a talented writer and director, tragically died by suicide on January 3 at the age of 47. He was found at their home by an assistant, and law enforcement confirmed the cause of death.
Three days after the tragedy, Plaza shared a heartfelt statement from their family, expressing their deep gratitude for the support they received and asking for privacy during this difficult time.
Just two days before his death, Plaza was seen enjoying a New York Knicks game with her friend Jerrod Carmichael, looking happy and carefree.
The couple had been together since 2011 and tied the knot a decade later. Plaza often referred to Baena affectionately, calling him “my darling husband” in a past Instagram post.
They collaborated on several projects, including “Life After Beth” and “The Little Hours.” Plaza once described their relationship as a mix of extreme highs and challenges, but they managed to navigate it together for over a decade.
Their home in LA has faced threats from wildfires, but it’s unclear if they were affected. Many celebrities in the area have lost their homes to these devastating fires.
