Arsenal is looking into social media abuse directed at Kai Havertz’s wife after their FA Cup defeat to Manchester United
London: So, Arsenal is digging into some nasty social media messages sent to Kai Havertz’s wife after their FA Cup exit against Manchester United. It was a tough match, and Havertz had a chance to clinch the win but missed it. Then, during the shootout, his penalty got saved, leading to a 5-3 loss after a 1-1 draw.
After the game, his partner Sophia, who’s expecting their first child, shared some of the awful messages she received on Instagram. She called one of them ‘shocking’ and asked her followers to be more respectful. Arsenal has brought in a tech company to help find out who sent those messages.
Sophia expressed her disbelief, saying it’s shocking that anyone thinks it’s okay to send such hurtful things. The club hopes to report the offenders to the police, and Instagram has already taken down the abusive posts for breaking their rules.
Havertz will be back in action soon, as Arsenal faces Tottenham at the Emirates on January 15. Let’s hope for a better outcome this time!
