At the Official Hispanic Inaugural Ball, he got a standing ovation. Ramaswamy introduced him, calling him a guy who knows how to “DOGE & MAGA.”

Since taking office in December 2023, Milei has cut inflation but also sparked a recession. He’s made some drastic moves, like firing thousands of public workers and slashing state spending by about 31%.

Despite the backlash, some Republicans are impressed with his cost-cutting approach. Musk and Ramaswamy have been vocal supporters, with Musk even expressing his admiration in Spanish.
