An Adams couple is searching for a buddy for their elderly llama, Ranger, who is feeling lonely after losing his companion.

Ranger and Bob were rescued from a kill pen back in 2009, and they’ve had quite the journey together. Bob is buried on their farm, and now it’s just Ranger, who really needs a companion. Melissa, one of the owners, says llamas are social animals and need buddies to thrive.
Melissa mentioned that Ranger is very lonely and that he’s never been known to spit at anyone, which is a common llama trait. She’s been spending time with him, even while dealing with her own health issues. She wants him to enjoy his remaining days with a friend by his side.
The couple has put out an ad in the local paper, hoping to find the right match for Ranger. They’re offering a great home with plenty of food and space. Melissa is determined to find a companion for him, as she knows how important it is for llamas to have company.
Ranger has had a tough life, including a serious injury that required surgery. But he’s a fighter and has come through it all. Now, he just needs someone to share his days with. The couple is open to suggestions and is willing to pay for the right companion.
If anyone knows of a pony or another llama that could be a good fit for Ranger, they can reach out to Melissa. She’s hopeful that someone will step up to help her beloved llama find a buddy.
