Adams Couple Seeks Companion for Their Lonely Elderly Llama Ranger

Adams: Ranger the llama, who’s 21 years old, is in need of a friend. His previous buddy, Bob, has passed away, and now Ranger is feeling pretty lonely. The Eisenhauers, who own him, are looking for a female pony or a neutered male llama to keep him company.

Ranger and Bob were rescued from a kill pen back in 2009, and they’ve had quite the journey together. Bob is buried on their farm, and now it’s just Ranger, who really needs a companion. Melissa, one of the owners, says llamas are social animals and need buddies to thrive.

Melissa mentioned that Ranger is very lonely and that he’s never been known to spit at anyone, which is a common llama trait. She’s been spending time with him, even while dealing with her own health issues. She wants him to enjoy his remaining days with a friend by his side.

The couple has put out an ad in the local paper, hoping to find the right match for Ranger. They’re offering a great home with plenty of food and space. Melissa is determined to find a companion for him, as she knows how important it is for llamas to have company.
