A Perfect 48-Hour Girls’ Trip Itinerary in Las Vegas

Las Vegas: For a recent girls’ trip, I planned an amazing 48-hour itinerary. We stayed at a fab hotel on the Strip, hit up an adults-only pool club, and rented cabanas.

We also enjoyed the Bacchanal Buffet, Liquid Pool Lounge, and Vanderpump a Paris. I’ve been organizing girls’ trips to Vegas since I turned 21, and they’ve always been a blast.

This time, we celebrated my birthday and a friend’s divorce (she even wore a sash!). Now that we’re in our 40s, we prefer more comfort, better food, and a balanced schedule.

I think I nailed our itinerary for the weekend. On Friday, we checked into the ARIA at MGM Resorts, one of my favorite spots. It’s chic, centrally located, and has a huge pool complex.

We wasted no time and jumped into the pool with drinks in hand. As the sun set, we cleaned up and headed to The Cosmopolitan’s Boulevard pool for cocktails and live music.

The view of the Strip at night is just stunning. For dinner, we went to Cathédrale, a French-Mediterranean restaurant that felt perfect for our special occasion.

After a lovely meal, we called it a night to rest up for Saturday. The next day was packed with fun. We started at the Liquid Pool Lounge, an adults-only spot where we rented a cabana with vodka and snacks.

We danced and drank until late afternoon, then some of us napped before getting ready for the night. Our first stop was the Fantasy Lab Las Vegas, an interactive art installation that was super fun.

Afterward, we headed to Vanderpump a Paris for some delicious shared dishes, including a birdcage of cheese. By the time we finished, it was nearly midnight.

We then went to Encore Beach Club, where Shaquille O’Neal was DJing. I headed back to the hotel around 2 a.m., but some of the girls stayed out until 5!

On our last day, we kept it simple with a big brunch at the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace. It’s the largest buffet in Vegas, and we definitely overindulged.

After brunch, we enjoyed a cabana at the Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis, where we relaxed and even tried the swim-up poker bar.

Finally, we threw on cover-ups, grabbed our bags, and headed to the airport, feeling happy and relaxed after an epic trip.
