Newsweek’s latest survey reveals five New Jersey firms in the top ten most trusted companies in the U.S.
Camden: Trust is a big deal when we’re buying stuff, right? Newsweek says only about 30% of folks really trust companies these days, according to a recent survey.
So, what makes a company trustworthy? Newsweek teamed up with Statista to find out which companies people trust the most across the U.S.
They surveyed 25,000 people and looked at 700 companies from 23 different industries. They focused on how much customers, investors, and employees trust these companies. They even left out any companies that had scandals or lawsuits recently.
Guess what? Five companies from New Jersey made it into the top ten! In the Food and Beverage category, Campbell’s from Camden snagged the No. 3 spot. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts from Parsippany came in at No. 4 in Travel, Dining & Leisure.
American Water Works, also from Camden, ranked No. 6 in Energy and Utilities. Barnes and Noble from Basking Ridge took the No. 8 spot in Retail, and Anywhere Real Estate from Madison also landed at No. 8 in Real Estate and Housing.
There are a couple more companies on the list too: Warby Parker at No. 29 and Freshpet at No. 36.
